Planet Fitness Reisterstown Unveils $1.1 Million Revamp Featuring Innovative Wellness Amenities

REISTERSTOWN - The Reisterstown branch of Planet Fitness recently completed a $1.1 million renovation of its facilities. The revamp aims to offer an enhanced "Judgement Free Zone" to members.

"We are committed to reinvesting in the Reisterstown community and are thrilled to unveil our brand-new Judgement Free facilities to our existing and soon-to-be members," said Victor Brick, co-owner of Ohana Growth Partners (OGP), a franchise division of Planet Fitness.

Originally opened in November 2011, the Planet Fitness Reisterstown club just underwent a six-week transformation. The renovated 16,783-square-foot facility now includes a revamped spa area furnished with HydroMassage beds, massage chairs, and tanning beds. It also boasts a Recovery Lounge that combines hot, cold, and compression therapy to aid members in pain relief, recovery, and improving circulation.

Planet Fitness highlighted the new "RelaxSpace Wellness Pod," the first of its kind in the Baltimore area. The pod offers a "multi-sensory experience" featuring a range of videos, scents, and temperature controls, coupled with information on diet, nutrition, and exercise benefits.

"Already, we've experienced an outstanding response from the community and encourage everyone to come to check out the club, meet our friendly staff, get a tour, and see what the Judgement Free Zone is all about," Brick added.

Additional updates to the club include new exterior signage, lobby tile, rubber flooring, paint and wallpaper, and granite countertops.

To mark the reopening, Planet Fitness Reisterstown will host an open house on Monday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Open to the community, the event will offer free workouts, prize drawings, giveaways, and light refreshments. PF Classic Card members will enjoy complimentary Black Card® membership amenities during the event.
