Lockout Lifted At Reisterstown Schools: Shell Casing Found Near Franklin High School

REISTERSTOWN - Reisterstown area schools have lifted the lockdown that was put in place on Wednesday afternoon amid a shooting investigation near campus.

According to Baltimore County Public Schools, Franklin and Owings Mills high schools and Owings Mills Elementary School were under lockout status, restricting outside access to the schools while instruction continues normally.

Police responded to reports of shots fired near the high school around 2:00 p.m.

Police said that officers are investigating a shell casing that was found in the 11900 block of Reisterstown Road, but no injuries have been reported.
