OWINGS MILLS - After years of playing scratch-offs, one Reisterstown resident got lucky to the tune of $1 million.

"I went to the store to pick up some things for the kids," The Reisterstown mother of three told the Maryland Lottery.

She bought herself a $10 scratch-off that she played in the store. That ticket was not a winner, but she was still feeling lucky and purchased a single $20 Million Mega Multiplier game ticket.

"I noticed some numbers matched," The woman said. Initially, the prize seemed low, but she added, "I still got excited."

According to the Maryland Lottery, another customer pointed out the game's multiplier column, and the winner quickly realized what had happened.

She asked the store clerk to scan the scratch-off to confirm the win and received a printout stating the prize amount. She then took the scratch-off home to show it to her mother.

"We just sat there and just looked around like we were crazy," the winner said. "We were wondering what we were going to do with the money."

The Maryland Lottery said that she has already decided how to spend her incredible winnings. The winner plans to buy a home for her family to share, take an extensive vacation, and save the rest for future fun.

Her Lottery retailer can celebrate, too. For selling a $1 million top-prize winning scratch-off, Royal Farms #180, located at 11510 Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills, earns a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery.

The winning numbers were: 06 09 13 23 29 39
