Baltimore County Teen Stars In New Disney+ Series
BALTIMORE COUNTY - A Baltimore County teen will star in one of Disney+'s newest shows.
Elijah Jacob, a 17-year-old from Catonsville, plays Zuma in "The Crossover," a coming-of-age drama about twin brothers.
The young Marylander has already had a prolific career, starring in the short-lived AMC series "Feed the Beast," at only ten years old. He later appeared in "Swagger" on Apple TV+.
"The Crossover" was filmed in Louisiana in 2021, according to IMDB. WBAL reports that Jacob was recently able to attend a premiere of the show in Los Angeles.
"I ended up being really good friends with everyone on the show. It was an all-teen cast, so we all got close. We all had a great time," Jacob said in an interview.
Jacob is set to graduate in June, a few months before the debut of his next role. He will appear in HBO's "Sex in the City" sequel series, "And Just Like That," this summer.
The Baltimore County Star said he has already been accepted into several colleges and is figuring out his future.
"I've always loved acting," Jacob told WBAL. "I'm really just trying to figure out my future. I feel like a lot of people are on the air trying to figure out my future that are trying to support me as well. They're all extremely supportive and think it's super cool what I'm doing, or just like a plus."
