BALTIMORE COUNTY - The Baltimore County Government has an important question for residents this Earth Day: wood you like a free tree?

The county has a limited supply of 500 native trees to be handed out on Earth Day weekend.

Those looking to receive a tree must first place an order online. Trees will be available for pickup at Agricultural Center Farm Park in Cockeysville on April 21 and 22.

Residents can get up to two trees each, although the county advises that each tree needs about 20 to 30 feet of yard space.

The available trees are hackberry, persimmon, pin oak, redbud, river birch, serviceberry, slippery elm, sugar maple, sycamore, and white oak.
