BALTIMORE COUNTY - Baltimore County Police arrested a person in connection to a carjacking on Wednesday.
Police said the suspect forced a man to drive to an ATM and withdraw cash before stealing his car.
Around 8:10 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to the 9100 block of Reisterstown Road for reports of a robbery.
Once on scene, officers spoke with the victim, who said an unknown suspect approached them while getting into their car.
The suspect entered the vehicle and demanded that they be driven to an ATM. Police said that after the transaction was complete, the suspect told the victim to leave the car and then drove away.
On Thursday, detectives with the Regional Auto Theft Task Force were able to locate the stolen vehicle and apprehend the suspect in the 6200 block of Pulaski Highway in Baltimore.
The investigation is ongoing.
