OWINGS MILLS - The Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company is offering a unique opportunity to community members this winter. Make volunteering with the firefighters your New Year's resolution.

Owings Mills VFC is looking for volunteers, including positions as firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and support staff associate members.

"Volunteering with us is a great way to give back to your community and make a difference in the lives of others, the fire station said. "We are one of the busiest volunteer fire companies in Baltimore County and are always looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team."

No prior training is needed, and all residents over the age of 16 are encouraged to apply.

In addition to the personal satisfaction of helping others, there are many benefits to volunteering with the Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company, including free training, tax benefits, in-station live-in opportunities, and the opportunity to be a local hero.
