Another week closer to the new year, Owings Mills and Reisterstown! With Christmas right around the corner, community groups and businesses are starting their holiday-themed events!

On Saturday, Irvine Nature Center is holding its Holidays With Hoot event! This fun, nature-based holiday event will help you celebrate the season with this delightful morning of family activities. Meet the animal ambassador owls and learn more about these amazing birds up close. Create crafts and play games inspired by nature. Enjoy hot chocolate around a campfire and get pictures with Irvine’s special ambassador: HOOT!

One event no one should miss is Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company's free live performance from the Baltimore Ravens Marching Band! The Ravens Band will be onsite performing an assortment of music for shoppers at the Fire Company’s annual Christmas tree sale.

if you're looking to get out of town this weekend, Baltimore City has two exciting holiday-themed experiences this weekend.

The Third Annual Twelve Bars of Christmas Crawl is this Saturday at Power Plant Live! Put on your best holiday onesies, Santa suits, ugly sweaters, and elf costumes! It's the most wonderful crawl of the year!

The city is also hosting the Fells Point Egg Nog Tour at 900 S Broadway. Join the community in Fell's Point for an afternoon full of holiday spirit. Ticket holders will be able to sample one 3oz handcrafted eggnog sip from each of the participating local businesses in Fell's Point in a walking tasting tour sponsored by Fell's Point Main Street and Jameson.

Finally, Beau and Tinsel's Winter Wonderland at PADONIA is on Saturday! This child-friendly event will feature Holiday Trail with Characters & Lights, a Tubing Hill, a GIANT Gingerbread House, and more.

Saturday and Sunday are expected to be in the mid-40s, making this weekend another great opportunity to enjoy all the wonderful events the Owings Mills area has to offer.

I hope that the plan include walk paths, open spaces with seating to view nature and consequences for people littering, loitering and killing the wildlife.

I can’t believe these are our ‘leaders’. Drugs deals on every corner and in every parking lot. Johnny Clueless so concerned about low income earners, when they live better than the middle class. Garbage bags littered everywhere by mostly the people Johnny ‘entitled’ to county houses.

Let's talk about the people who are doing the littering. Full garbage bags placed on the streets and sideways. Garbage being thrown from cars and trucks. Pedestrians walking and eating..than throwing garbage on the ground. Dog walkers not picking up after their dogs. Etc..
