On Saturday, Saint Mark's Episcopal Church will be hosting an Organ concert by world-renowned musician and scholar, Patrick Kabanda. Kabanda is a Juilliard-trained organist and Fletcher-trained international affairs professional. He received Juilliard's William Schuman Prize for outstanding achievement and leadership in music in 2003, and from 2012 to 2013 he was a Charles Francis Adams Scholar at The Fletcher School of Tufts University. The 46th annual BAIC Pow Wow is this Saturday at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. Join the community for a Native American celebration of good Food, Culture, Heritage, Authentic Indigenous Crafts & Fun. There will be native dancers and drummers in regalia.
Finally, the Salvation Army still needs volunteers to pack grocery boxes for low-income seniors in the Baltimore area. If you're feeling like giving back to the local community, there are hundreds of low-income seniors in the Baltimore area who struggle to get to the grocery store and buy the essentials they need. This is an opportunity to help out while meeting like-minded individuals.
