The rain from Ian is finally gone! It's time to get out and enjoy this wonderful October weekend in Owings Mills! We have five events for this weekend, and two of them are outdoors! 

For anyone who needs to unwind after another hard week's work, don't miss the Oktoberfest at Hill Crest Swim Club. Grab a stein and join the community for an afternoon of food trucks, beer, and conversation. 

October 8th is Indigenous Peoples Day, join Irvine Nature Center in its celebration of the indigenous peoples of Maryland. This event gives attendees the opportunity to learn about Maryland's first people with hands-on demonstrations of traditional skills. 

Music lovers can venture into the city for the Billie Holiday Music and Arts Festival. Enjoy food trucks, live music, and vendors at this celebration of Billie Holiday and the Baltimore community.

Indigenous Peoples' Day at Irvine Nature Center - Sat Oct 8 11:00 am

Families can learn about pre-colonial American Indian culture in the eastern region with hands-on activities and demonstrations of traditional skills.
