OWINGS MILLS, MD — National Night Out is Tuesday, Aug. 2, and multiple communities in the Owings Mills and Reisterstown areas are having get-togethers to celebrate.

The annual affair “promotes police-community partnerships and provides an opportunity for neighbors and members of law enforcement to come together,” according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Here are some events happening near Owings Mills and Reisterstown, according to Baltimore County police:

  • New Towne Community Association is hosting a community gathering from 6 to 8 p.m. at Central Park, at the corner of New Town Boulevard and Fitch Hill Road.
  • Chartley homeowners association will join the Country Club Estates Community Association for a gathering at Chartley shopping center at 100 Chartley Drive from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
