School In Reisterstown Closes Due To Utility Problem

REISTERSTOWN, MD — A school in Reisterstown is closing early on Thursday, officials announced Thursday morning.

Franklin Middle School at 10 Cockeysmill Road in Reisterstown will close at 9:45 a.m. due to lack of air conditioning, according to Baltimore County Public Schools.

Baltimore County is under a heat advisory from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. because temperatures may feel like 105 degrees on the heat index, the National Weather Service advised.
