My daughter with cerebral palsy is honest and a good person. She would be considered a younger disabled. With that said, I don't want her in a SENIOR housing complex. She needs to be with younger NON disabled peers. With that said..Center place may have started out as a good idea but it went terribly wrong. I am glad that we are improving our community. I like the idea of senior housing if it stays that way.

I know that is the sad part. It should be for seniors only. 55 and older.

ReplyNow this is a great idea!! Our seniors deserve it. Most have lived their whole life in Dundalk keeping their homes up and would love to stay in the area. ...With that said, Please don't let it get like Center place. I don't go over there but I know there are people there who are under 55 that live there. I understand that if you have a documented disability that you can move in too. (I have a daughter with cerebral palsy) but I have heard from reliable people that there are residents who are under 55 and over 55 that are dealing drugs out of there. They let their kids stay there. I think it should be monitored better like St. Lukes in Edgemere.
