ReplyHow much money was lost on resurfacing Towson Pools with wrong process which required resurfacing because of many slippery conditions ? Apparently they ignored warnings and installed own sealer didn't work.If this is a sign of how facilities have been run Soccer shouldn't pay administrators should go .

Cary your pros contradict what the Md Open space plan states. Thier research is quality of life parks and comunities which draw business are more likely to stay .Possibly Vontran wins and we should be happy? Has Baltimore County Department of Recreation EVER had to declare bankruptcy? Why don't you find or go back to your community and rebuild it.I'm sure Dundalk can replace your volunteerism especially since you say in earlier posts you will benifit with whatever your business is by the NPGC being sold. That is Carpetbagging.I'm not using that as a derogatory word I'm using it to state what act you are committing.Your moving in on a new property and getting them to redevelop it to make yourself successful.Even though the community is happy of course the community was defeated by an invading army KK taking over our side of town with the use of tories like Johnny O .Is this really the time for someone to attack one of the most patriotic areas of Maryland per our senator Cardin? Is it right for outsiders to rip heart of Dundalk again Cardin in radio interview that federal funds were used to put VA one stop in heart of Dundalk.200th anniversary of Dundalk telling invaders it's our town,we weren't like DC that turned and ran it is our property and everyone from Towson south is against this ,IN Baltimore County that is .Watch everyone, next month either Opinion Works or Goucher will come out with poll Baltimore Countians WANT development.

ReplySo KK this is how it works Cary a non taxpayer who lives in the city but intends for her and her boyfriend to someday LIVE in Baltimore County writes a letter telling you how great your ideas are and wants to interject her expertise into planning Her theatre. She gets immediate nice response and appointment with a county rep to hear her plans. What part of this is wrong to the citizens of Dundalk and Baltimore County and Dundalk who own the park? Does it only count as a good idea if your EGO is stroked? Have you set up private meeting for Mr. Weber? Seems like someone who put as much time and taxes into a property should get the same respect someone who doesn't LIVE in county or even rent here gets? Thanks Cary for proving what every real Baltimore County resident has said is true He just doesn't care what we say.

ReplyBy the way Cary you say it is zoned not as a park however it is officially listed as park and maintained by Rec and park funds ,Who has been cutting grassall the time KK has been in office? If it isn't a park and he knowingly allowed for misappropriations of a county department funds and manpower to maintain hasn't he basically misued goverment funding? Maybe we should look into this .Thanks Cary .It would be easier to just get rid of him by impeaching him if he knowingly continues to do this isn't it ?

ReplyAshley Virginia I'm not putting down theater or any enterprise using Center.Fact is Cary asked for suggestions and even if crazy I just pointed out some no one in Dundalk ever had opportunity because we thought it was our property ,I know that residents parents and grandparents thought they had paid for it .By the way if KK or Cary bothered to go on Maryland Open spaces main page and see why open spaces were purchased and what the US Congress committee used for a reason to start this program they'd realize there arguements run counter to original reason for funding.,It clearly states that giving tax exemptions and creating developments disappear as soon as credits run out however if company sees high quality of life parks open spaces etc they are more likely to buy and build and STAY in that area.

you can build pretty buildings and new rec center anywhere .You can't build a natural park. Not in the middle of a community look at White Marsh it was a planned community not using Recreation and Park lands. These lands were bought and paid for by Baltimore county taxpayers with thier Ballot questions .The bonds that proposed securing this land never specicified that your vote will be used to build a warchest for a carpet bagging outsider to sell to expand his political war chest.

Why do you get to start? We told you were happy ,your not find a new town or boyfriend and move somewhere else. How about paying property taxes before telling landowners your perceptions of pros and cons as a tax paying baltimore countian hear are my pros and cons.We own land no increase to keep it's beauty, theater could be a private development .I voted for Baltimore county to use my property taxes and maryland to buy and keep it open space. Con You haven't paid a cent have no history with real Dundalk and haven't earned right to say anything it isn't your park. You don't know how fields are maintained .they have strict rules that is why RECREATION COUNCILS buy BAllFields. DEPT of ED cuts Fields when they want because it comes directyly out of thier principals budget. If it has been maintained by Department of Recreation and it isn't a county Park that is wrong.Someone playing with budgets that bond issues were passed to cover.Just claiming you don't know doesn't make it right/Since you've been Spoon fed every zoning law pro developer and your pleading ignorance I think your Developer friends don't want us to go there. Sort of like Johnny O updated report? if you stall long enough they'll forget or play stupid.Johnny O has done both and were all waiting for update.Same with Maintenance if KK has used Park funds to maintain a park that isn't a park we want money transferred back into Recreation And Parks Budget .
