ReplyGoogle: 'Suicide, read this first' if you are feeling suicidal or know someone who is. It's helped many.

ReplyThis is certainly an emotionally charged situation an on the whole, there is a lot of pain, confusion, frustration, doubt and fear.
The pain that is left with those who loved this man is insurmountable and warrant compassion and support. Not only are they grieving the loss, they are probably asking, 'what did or didn't I do to stop this?' Self blame holds no logic.
I doubt that this man thought he would hurt anyone but himself. The suicidal mind holds no room for others because he saw himself as 'unnecessary' to the world. His pain blinded him to others feelings, safety or involvement except to say that his presence caused pain in others.'Suicide is not chosen; it happens
when pain exceeds
resources for coping with pain.' -

THANK YOU Alexandra. It's become a joke on Lakeside, counting the young trees in the middle and replaced signs that get flattened. Not having a shoulder on either side makes Lakeside even more dangerous. (not to mention the nightmare intersection where the gas sta. shopping center and apartment complex , plus the Rite Aid on Lakeside come together)

ReplyWhen someone is subjected to this kind of abuse it can leave life long mental scars. Usually, the person trying to gain entry has no idea what kind of 'hazing' they will be subjected to. A 'normal' hazing ritual subjects the victim to physical and mental abuse. We've all heard about cases where the victim has actually died from a hazing. Judging the woman for speaking up (something not permitted) and accusing her of seeking money falsely is atrocious. Remember folks, here in the USA you're supposed to be innocent before proven guilty. Something to consider: Hazing is illegal in most states.

ReplyI will always go to the New Town (Groffs Mill) Giant because of convenience and it's had a nice facelift. The produce is great.People don't try to run you over in the parking lot like they do at Safeway. Wegmans has always felt more like an adventure once in awhile. It's an experience and if you aren't careful, you'll spend way more than your budget allows. Reisterstown road needs help anyway you look at it. I'm curious to see what road plans they will come up with. Someone mentioned the loss of the factory..but it's empty! However the New Town mall is in dire need of something. It's in a sad state. Even the Macy's is cutting back on stock. Once they go...it's over. Penny's is suffering and they won't be able to keep it aloft. To be honest, it's still a very nice structure and I still don't understand it's demise. If people say crime well, what's to stop crime from entering an outdoor mall? It would be great if some grad student did a research project about that space.
