Hey man, this is red meat in a blue state. They like making investments with other people's money.

Janis Maryjane,
If you could address any of them logically I would not mind. When pressed on an issue, you simply move on to something else and regurgitate talking points.

Jeff, I understand that PO has an interest here. I'm not disputing that. My only point is that there is currently no EVIDENCE of any health risks. There is quite a bit of speculation. Having increased coverage is in the best interest of the surrounding community. I don'tthink that PO should have veto rights.
My issue is that we have several people from Montgomery County with a curious interest in this issue. I am fine with community input, and you have a good point about the notice. I simply detest people using scare tactics that have little basis in reality to stir up opposition.

Janis, you keep moving the target, I'm not easily distracted.
You have so far tried the following argument
Vehicular traffic
Radiation
Unknown workers roaming the property
Hazmat(batteries)
Falling tower hazard
Unpaid taxes
Slush fundsI'm waiting for the plague of locusts

How about a tin foil hat.
Cordless phones and cell phones have been around since the 80's. no big brain cancer spikes that I am aware of.

The more important question Jeff is why should anyone care?
There is ZERO evidence of any health risk from the towers. It's the school's property, not Piney Orchard's.

And though they do not pay taxes, the school system is compensated.
Hmmm.

ReplyJanis is continually confused regarding how a company that does not own any property can possibly "get away with" not paying property tax.
According to "Janis" , which of the following are true?
A) the cell tower will fall over and crush your children on their way to recess.
B) high speed pickup trucks will zoom across the playground driven by perverts on work release.
C) kids will scale an 8 foot high fence to wade in open pools of sulfuric acid.
D) you will be able to read the paper at night from the ambient glow given off by your kids.Apparently it's all of the above.

The only minorities Steve likes are those that toe the party line. Otherwise he has al kinds of names for them.
