Reisterstown Man Hospitalized, Guns Stolen in Home Invasion

A 52-year-old Reisterstown resident was sent to Sinai Hospital after he sustained head injuries when his home was robbed by masked suspects Sunday.

A Reisterstown man was hospitalized early Sunday morning for head injuries sustained during a home invasion robbery. Four to five suspects wearing ski masks broke into a home in the 1400 block of Nicodemus Road in Reisterstown and tied up the 52-year-old man who was home. “He was hit in the head several times with the butt of the gun one of the suspects had,” said Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander of the Baltimore County Police Frankin Precinct. The suspects broke into the home around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, tied up the man, ransacked the house and stole one handgun, five shotguns, three rifles and two computers.
