A Baltimore County Police crash report reveals that Waldman, a Towson resident, failed to stop at a red light on Goucher Boulevard.

(Updated Saturday 1:31 p.m.)— A Baltimore County Police investigation revealed that Essex Patch editor Tyler Waldman was at fault in a Nov. 26 car crash that left him with serious injuries. Waldman's Honda Civic was struck by a Ford Mustang at the intersection of Goucher Boulevard and E. Joppa Road at 9:17 a.m., police said. Waldman, a 24-year-old Towson resident, was distracted while driving and drove through a red light on Goucher Boulevard, according to a police crash report. The driver of the Mustang, 37-year-old Rosedale woman Shernale T. Kenney, had the green light on Joppa Road. A Baltimore County police crash investigator concluded that both drivers were speeding. Tyler Waldman, Patch Editor Now in 'Fair Condition'

Waldman, a Towson resident, was seriously injured in Nov. 26 car crash.

Tyler Waldman, Essex Patch editor, was upgraded to 'fair condition' at Maryland Shock Trauma Monday after a Nov. 26 car crash.  According to an email from a family member, Waldman was expected to leave Shock Trauma for inpatient services at another medical facility as early as Tuesday. The 24-year-old Towson resident suffered serious injuries after his Honda Civic was struck by a Ford Mustang at the intersection of Goucher Boulevard and E. Joppa Road. The driver of the Mustang, identified by Baltimore County Police as 37-year-old Rosedale woman Shervale T. Kenney, was treated for minor injuries at Sinai Hospital. Investigation Into Towson Accident Continues

No charges have been filed in the Monday morning crash that injured three, including Patch Local Editor Tyler Waldman.

UPDATED (12:16 p.m.)—Police continue to investigate the Monday morning accident that injured three people including a Patch local editor. Tyler Waldman, 24, remains in critical condition at Shock Trauma, according to Cindy Rivers, a hospital spokeswoman. Details surrounding the accident remain unclear. Early investigation shows that a Honda Civic was traveling on Goucher Boulevard through the intersection of E. Joppa Road, Baltimore County police said in a statement. A Ford Mustang, traveling eastbound on East Joppa Road, struck the Civic, according to a police statement Monday.
