Firehouse Subs gifted two thermal imaging cameras to the Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company.
New technology donated to the Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company will help firefighters more efficiently tackle fires and hazardous incidents. Firehouse Subs donated two thermal imaging camera, worth more than $14,600, to the fire company last week. “It was something they really needed to help them save lives,” said owner and general manager Ayaz Moledina. The cameras, which are small enough to be clipped onto the firefighters’ suits, have “crystal clear pictures,” said Capt. Ed. Schwartz Jr. The cameras show different colors for different temperatures.
