Ravens’ Torrey Smith to Visit Reisterstown Shelter Friday

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith will host a holiday party at Sarah’s Hope at Hannah More Friday night for shelter residents. The event is not open to the public.

A Baltimore Raven will be in Reisterstown Friday night at an event that has absolutely nothing to do with football. Instead, wide receiver Torrey Smith will let his dreadlocks down and host a holiday party for residents of Sarah’s Hope at Hannah More. The event is not open to the public. The shelter houses families, single women, men with children and married couples who are homeless, and many residents who are victims of domestic violence. The shelter provides meals, job assistance, case management, housing assistance and refers residents to other services like group therapy and substance abuse treatment.
