Police Identify Woman Shot by Officer in Pikesville

Stephanie Kamlot is still in the hospital, but will be taken to the Baltimore County Detention Center when she is released, police say.

Stephanie Kamlot, age 40, has been charged in a police-involved shooting that happened Saturday in Pikesville. Early Saturday morning, Kamlot—with an unknown address—was shot several times in the upper body by an officer of the Pikesville precinct after she refused to put down a replica of a gun that looked like a semi-automatic handgun, police have said. Kamlot, who was still hospitalized on Monday, has been charged with first-degree assault and obstruction of justice in the incident that allegedly happened outside a home in the 3100 block of Northbrook Road, according to police. Police: The woman was holding a handgun replica when she was shot.

A woman shot by a Baltimore County police officer early Saturday morning in Pikesville was holding a handgun replica and will be charged in the incident, police said. A Baltimore County police officer shot the woman several times in the upper body after she did not follow police orders to drop the weapon. The woman threatened the officer with a metallic replica of a large semi-automatic handgun, a police investigation revealed. The woman, who was in stable condition Sunday afternoon, will be charged with first-degree assault and obstruction of justice upon her release from the hospital, Baltimore County police Officer Shawn Vinson said. Woman Shot by Police in Pikesville

Police: The woman was shot after she didn’t follow orders to drop a handgun.

A woman is in serious condition after a Baltimore County police officer shot her when she would not drop a gun early Saturday morning in Pikesville, police said. Just before 2 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a house in the 3100 block of Northbrook Road for a report of a suspicious person. When they arrived, an officer saw a woman standing in front of the house. When he approached her, she threw a large rock at the house, breaking a window, the release said. The woman then pulled out a handgun and did not drop the weapon after the officer ordered her to do so several times, the release said. Investigation Reveals Shot Officer's Weapon Fired

An off-duty police officer was shot in an Overlea area neighborhood in the early morning Dec. 9.

An off duty police officer who was shot in Overlea nearly two weeks ago was able to fire at least two rounds during the attack. A police department investigation found that two rounds were fired from weapon of the Baltimore County police officer shot when a gunman emerged from an unruly crowd near Dale Avenue and Danville Road on Dec. 9, according to an email from police spokeswoman Elise Armacost. "Investigators have not yet determined the context in which the weapon was fired," Armacost wrote, adding that police were able to confirm the officer had not been shot with his own weapon. Gunman Emerges from Crowd, Shoots Off-Duty Officer

An off-duty Baltimore County Police Department officer was shot twice in the Overlea area Sunday morning after a gunman emerged from a crowd. At 3:24 a.m. police found the officer, suffering from two gunshot wounds, at Dale Avenue and Danwood Road, according to a report from Baltimore County police. Police found out that a "large group of people" had been blocking the street, and that the off-duty officer had "stopped his vehicle and asked them to move so he could pass," the report states. "A male emerged from the crowd with a gun and fired several shots into the victim's car, striking him twice," it states. Suspects Identified in Weekend Woodlawn Shooting

Victim found shot in his vehicle Sunday is in good condition, police say.

A man found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle Sunday morning in Woodlawn is in good condition, and three suspects arrested have been identified. "Detectives do not believe the shooting was a random act, and the incident remains under investigation," said a statement from the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrested and charged with first-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault were: They are being held without bail at the county detention center, according to police. UPDATED: Man Killed in Baltimore Highlands

Victim declared dead at Shock Trauma after shooting on 3800 block of McDowell Ln.

A man was shot and killed on the 3400 block of McDowell Ln. in Baltimore Highlands shortly before midnight on Friday, according to police. At 11:46 p.m., Baltimore County police and fire personnel responded to the 3800 Block of McDowell Lane for a report of a shooting, police said in a release. Upon their arrival at the scene, they discovered an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound, the release said. He was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he later died, according to the release. The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit is investigating this incident. Police do not yet have a suspect in custody, according to officials. Teen Shot on Shirley Manor Road Tuesday Night

A 17-year-old was shot multiple times Tuesday night in Reisterstown, but was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

A teenager was hospitalized Tuesday night after being shot multiple times while walking on Shirley Manor Road near Chartley Drive in Reisterstown. “A car pulled behind [him], one suspect fired several rounds at the victim and he was struck multiple times,” according to Baltimore County Police Cpl. Cathy Batton. The incident occurred shortly after 11 p.m. The teen was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries, Batton said. A detailed suspect or vehicle description was not available. Batton said a handgun was used in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.

Milford Mill Man Shot, Killed in Randallstown

Willie Cedric Jackson, 19, died early Tuesday morning, March 29, of multiple gunshot wounds.

Willie Cedric Jackson, 19, of Milford Mill, died early Tuesday morning after suffering gunshot wounds at 4000 Winlee Road in Randallstown, Baltimore County police said. At 11:47 p.m. Monday, Woodlawn Police/Precinct 2, responded to a call of shots fired, said spokesman Lt. Robert McCullough. "When they got to the area of 4000 Winlee Road, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds," McCullough said. Jackson was taken to Northwest Hospital in Randallstown "where he was pronounced deceased at 12:35 a.m.," McCullough said. Jackson, who was born in June 1991, resided in the unit block of Heatherton Court in the Milford Mill area of Woodlawn, McCullough said. Read more on this shooting:
