The Reisterstown Theatre Project performs this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Franklin Middle School.
By Bob Frank President, Reisterstown Theatre Project River City, Iowa, arrived by train in Reisterstown last weekend as the Music Man train pulled into Franklin Middle School. Reisterstown Theatre Project’s production played to full houses all three days and was standing room only on Sunday, March 3. The production, directed by Reisterstown resident Bob Frank, featured several moving set pieces and a large, talented cast. Ken Kemp stars as Harold Hill with local resident Kelly Rardon as his leading lady, Marion Paroo. Local youngster Logan Dubel (a veteran RTP performer) is delightful as Winthrop Paroo. He is joined on stage by another veteran RTP actor, Tim Evans, who is a scowling, tongue-tied Mayor Shined. The show is two-and-a-half …

The Reisterstown Theatre Project’s adaptation of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is an entertaining production for the whole family.
It was a play as whimsical as the novel from which it was inspired. “Narnia – The Musical,” presented by the Reisterstown Theatre Project, provided two-and-a-half hours of delightful entertainment based on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. The Reisterstown Theatre Project, which began in 2008, is in its fourth season, and “Narnia” promises to be one of its most entertaining performances, for adults and children alike. The set design was simple, the costumes eclectic and the props glittering, and along with the acting, these elements managed to transform the Franklin Middle School auditorium into Narnia, the magical land that exists beyond a wardrobe in one of England’s oldest and most mysterious manors. Marbleton Manor …

The Reisterstown Theatre Project's "Shakespeare in the Park" series is under way at Hannah More Park with "Comedy of Errors."
Weekends at Hannah More Park are usually for riding bikes, roller-skating, and picnics. But thanks to the latest production of the Reisterstown Theatre Project, Shakespeare’s “Comedy of Errors,” locals can see a fun and light-hearted theatrical production at the park while enjoying the summer breeze. Directed by Richard Peck, this summer’s production of “Comedy of Errors” is silly and entertaining. One of Shakespeare’s earliest plays (if not the earliest) is a tale of a master Antipholus (played by Daniel Douek) and his servant, Dromio (played by Melainie Eiffert), from the town of Syracuse, coming to the town of Ephesus. Little do they know, that there is an identical master and servant, of the same names, Antipholus of Ephesus (played by…
