Joe Flacco To Sign Autographs at Doubletree in Pikesville

The Super Bowl most valuable player will do public signings April 20.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco will do a public autograph signing this week in Pikesville. There are fees for autographs, and items may be dropped off beforehand, according to The Great Moments Inc. website. Check the Flacco event site for details. The event takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hilton Doubletree, 1726 Reisterstown Rd, according to a tweet from @TeamFlacco. Great Moments is a retail store that specializes in "autographed sports memorabilia and hosting autograph sessions," its website states. Nearby, there's a store at 23 Padonia Road in Timonium. There are also stores in Westminster, White Marsh and Frederick.

Walmart To Bring Vision Center, Pharmacy, Subway, Salon

Randallstown's new business will be open 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

When the new Walmart Super Center opens next week in Randallstown, it brings with it a Subway restaurant and SmartStyle hair salon. That's in addition to Walmart's grocery, deli, bakery, home and garden center and pharmacy—including a drive-thru feature—according to a news release from Walmart. “The president, board of directors, members and staff of the Liberty Road Business Association are excited to welcome Walmart to the Liberty Road business community and are looking forward to Walmart’s involvement,” Harold G. Reid, LRBA executive director, said in a statement. TIME CHANGE: Walmart Jobs Announcement Set for Sept. 11

Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz plans to make an announcement at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the new Walmart in Liberty Road Plaza shopping center in Randallstown.

New jobs are coming to Randallstown. And County Executive Kevin Kamenetz will make an announcement about them next week. "He will be making an announcement about Walmart jobs," said county spokeswoman Fronda Cohen. The announcement, which will be open to the public, will be made at 12:30 p.m. at the site. The $10 million Walmart Super Center is expected to bring about 350 permanent jobs to Randallstown, according to earlier reports. The 160,000-square foot anchor store located off of Benbrook Road could open as early as September. Editor's Note: The Baltimore County Executive's office changed the time for the event, which will now be held at 12:30 p.m.

Mega Millions Lottery Winners Plan to Work, Travel

According to the Maryland Lottery officials, the winners of the historic $656 million jackpot watched the lottery news unfolding, came up with a plan, and went to the lottery headquarters in Baltimore with a financial adviser.

  On March 30, a 20-year-old public school employee found a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket among the 60 she had spread out on the floor. "Once I realized one was a winner, I called my two friends right away," she said in a Maryland Lottery news release Tuesday. The three have decided to remain anonymous. She and another winner, a man in his 40s, went over to the third friend's house—a woman in her 50s—to plan how to claim their winnings, the release states. The three friends, all public school employees, had gone in on a pool together to purchase the 60 tickets for the historic $656 million Mega Millions jackpot, lottery officials said. UPDATE: Westport McDonald's Employee Says She Won Mega Millions

A Haitian immigrant who is the mother of seven and works at a Westport McDonald's told the New York Post that she has the winning Mega Millions ticket sold in Milford Mill.

  UPDATE (1:39 p.m.)—A Westport McDonald's employee says she's the one who bought the winning Mega Millions ticket at the 7-Eleven in Milford Mill. Marlinde Wilson said she bought one for herself individually and also some in a pool with others at the McDonald's, according to a New York Post report. She plans to turn in the ticket Monday, the report states; however, "Pressed as the day went on, she became more cagey." "I don’t know if I won," she said in The Post. "Some of the numbers were familiar. I recognized some of [them]. “I don’t know why’’ people are saying differently. “I’m going to go to the lottery office [today].
