Two Women Injured in Tuesday Morning Crash

Two women were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a three-vehicle collision on Reisterstown Road at Painters Mill Road Tuesday morning.

Two female drivers were transported to two area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries after a collision Tuesday morning. Police received a call at 8:41 a.m. for a three-vehicle collision at Reisterstown Road and Painters Mill Road in Owings Mills. The vehicles involves were a Chevy Impala, Honda Civic and Toyota Camry, according to Louise Rogers-Feher, a Baltimore County Police spokeswoman. The driver of the Civic, a female, was extricated after officials cut the roof off of her car. She was taken to Sinai Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Upcoming Roadwork: Dolfield Blvd and Painters Mill Bridge

Roadwork on Dolfield Boulevard and Painters Mill Road will begin this year.

Roadwork on Dolfield Boulevard and Painters Mill Road will begin this year. The work on Dolfield Boulevard, beginning this July, will connect Reisterstown Road to Red Run Boulevard and the Owings Mills Town Center. Spanning from 795 to Reisterstown Road, the $6.5 million project is intended to relieve traffic, according to county engineers. Road closings are not expected during the two-year construction, but traffic may be diverted, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration. Additionally, public works will be replacing the deck of the Painters Mill Road Bridge over Gwynn Falls in Owings Mills.
