A 20-year-old Westminster man was hospitalized a crash in Reisterstown Tuesday night that killed a 74-year-old woman.
A Reisterstown woman was killed Tuesday night after a motorist threatening to kill himself crashed into her car on Reisterstown Road in front of Franklin High School. Martha Tabares, 74, of the 900 block of Shirley Manor Road in Reisterstown, was pronounced dead at the scene. The motorist threatening suicide, 20-year-old Nicholas Frederick Mottley, of the 600 block of Wilmont Road in Westminster, was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition was unknown Wednesday morning, according to a police press release. At 8:13 p.m. Tuesday, Baltimore County Police responded to I-795 southbound between Owings Mills Boulevard and I-695. A 69-year-old Reisterstown woman was killed in a car crash in Sparks Wednesday night.
A Reisterstown woman was killed after a Chevrolet truck crossed into her lane and struck her vehicle in Sparks last night. Deirdre Diane Huddle, 69, of the unit block of Fiske Avenue in Reisterstown, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Baltimore County Police report. A 44-year-old Cockeysville man was driving a 2005 Chevy C5500, which was towing a mobile chipper, southbound on Falls Road north of Gadd Road when he drove off the roadway and hit rocks along an embankment, according to the report. The Chevy then crossed over Falls Road into the northbound lane, striking Huddles’ 2009 Suburu Forrester, which was traveling northbound. A 21-year-old Reisterstown woman was pronounced dead Thursday night after her car rear-ended another vehicle at the intersection of Greenspring Avenue and Garrison Forest Road in the Worthington Valley. Kara Marian Cook, of the unit block of Trighton Court in Reisterstown, was traveling northbound on Greenspring Avenue in her 2000 BMW Z3 when she rear-ended a 2006 Mercedes R350 that was turning left onto Garrison Forest Road from the northbound lane on Greenspring Avenue, Louise Rogers-Feher, a county police spokeswoman, said. “Ms. Cook then separates from the Mercedes and collided with a guardrail along the east edge of Greenspring Avenue,” Rogers-Feher said.
