An armed man tried to rob Pizza Boli’s in Reisterstown, but fled the scene with no success.
A man armed with a handgun tried to rob Pizza Boli’s in Reisterstown, but fled the scene empty-handed after an employee refused to give him money. A suspect entered the pizza shop on Dec. 27 at 11:15 p.m., pointed the gun at a cashier and demanded money, but the cashier refused to give him any money. The suspect tried to leave the scene, and the employee grabbed him in an attempt to keep him from leaving. The suspect struck the victim with the gun and fled, according to a police report. The cashier was treated at Northwest Hospital for minor injuries, according to Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander of the Baltimore County Police’s Franklin Precinct.

A man with a handgun stole money and fled the scene around 6 p.m. Dec. 31, police said.
A armed man robbed the Main Street Citgo on New Year’s Eve, police said. Around 5:55 p.m., a man with a silver handgun entered the gas station, located at 525 Main St. in Reisterstown, went behind the counter and pointed a handgun at an employee’s head and demanded money from the registers, police said. The employee complied, and the suspect fled on foot, according to Lt. R. Stroble of the Baltimore County Police Franklin Precinct. The precinct’s K9 and aviation units responded to the scene, but did not locate the suspect, he said. The gas station was robbed at gunpoint by two men on Dec. 10.

Various pieces of jewelry were stolen from Zales at the Owings Mills Mall during an armed robbery. It marks the seventh armed robbery since the beginning of August.
Two men, one brandishing a handgun, stole various pieces of jewelry from Zales at the Owings Mills Mall on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at approximately 8:40 p.m. The men entered the store, presented a handgun and told employees they were being robbed. They stole several pieces of jewelry and fled in an unknown direction, according to a police report. Bare Feet Shoes was robbed by two armed men on Sept. 4, but police don’t believe the incidents to be connected because of differences in the suspect descriptions, according to Lt. The Baltimore County Police Franklin Precinct, which covers Owings Mills and Reisterstown, has not seen a commercial robbery trend like the current one in two years.
The recent string of commercial robberies, which has seen six businesses robbed at gunpoint since August 8, is the first commercial robbery trend the Baltimore County Police Franklin Precinct has seen since 2010. Police believe five of the six incidents may be connected, but the recent robbery of Bare Feet Shoes in Owings Mills is a separate incident. It’s the precinct’s first commercial robbery trend in two years. “It is a high number for us in a short time period, so we’ve been trying a couple of things,” said Lt. A man brandishing a handgun robbed Taco Bell and attempted to rob Fuddruckers Thursday night. Police believe these incidents are connected with other armed robberies.
Owings Mills and Reisterstown are experiencing the first commercial robbery trend of 2012, according to Baltimore County Police. Last Thursday, an armed robber stole money from Taco Bell shortly after attempting to gain entry to Fuddruckers. Earlier this month, the Pizza Hut in Reisterstown, Main Street Veterinary Hospital in Owings Mills and Popeye’s in Owings Mills were all robbed at gunpoint. The suspect took money in each incident. “Our criminal investigation division is actively working those two as well as the [other ones],” according to Capt.
