The Owings Mills location of Caribou Coffee is one of 80 stores in the chain that will be closing in the next year, according to a Bethsda manager. Lauren Callahan, a manager at Caribou in Bethesda—which will be changing to Peet's Coffee and Tea in the next year to 18 months—told Patch of the closure, which could happen as soon as April. The shift comes amidst changes for Caribou, as the popular coffee chain announced this week the closure of 80 "underperforming" stores across the country and turns other 88 stores over to Peet's.
