Police: MTA Bus Accident Occurred on Old Court

Because it was not serious, police say they are investigating the accident at the precinct level.

A Maryland Transit Administration bus was involved in a traffic accident  Wednesday morning. According to Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman Julia Hardgrove, the accident occurred at 11:19 a.m. at the intersection of Old Court Road and Al Hannah Circle in Randallstown. Because it was not serious, the investigation is being handled by the Pikesville precinct, not by the police Crash Team, she said. Information about the nature of the crash and the number of people involved—likely four or more—was not immediately available, she said.

MTA Police Seek Suspect in Randallstown Armed Robbery

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases were a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

The Maryland Transit Administration Police released a photo Friday of a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Randallstown. On June 6, a man boarded an MTA bus, displayed a knife and brass knuckles and stole a cell phone from a victim, according to a news release. The incident occurred on the No. 54 bus in the 9800 block of Liberty Road, the release states. Anyone with information is asked to contact the MTA Police 24-hour phone line at 410-454-7720.
