The Baltimore Metro area was expecting between 5 and 11 inches of snow during this week's winter storm. See how many inches have fallen in your area with the LIVE map below.
The map above, provided by the National Weather Service, shows total snowfall in your Patch area over the past 3 days. The map is centered around the red marker, which is in the middle of your Patch's coverage area, and the map updates every six hours, starting around 2 a.m. each day. It updates as Skywarn volunteers file their reports, so check back later to see more accurate statistics. Note: This map is not visible on some mobile devices. A winter storm warning is in effect for the larger region: the Baltimore and D.C. Metro area, through 3 a.m. Thursday, when as much as 12 inches of snow could accumulate, according to the National Weather Service. Most communities could see 4-8 inches total, but Randallstown, Owings Mills and Reisterstown could get the most, at up to 10 inches from Tuesday night through Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

A snowstorm is heading toward Central Maryland and Baltimore County, and may hit Tuesday, and BGE is bringing in 500 extra workers.
UPDATE (5:38 p.m.) A storm heading toward the Baltimore and D.C. Metro areas could dump one or more inches of heavy snow on Baltimore County, beginning overnight Tuesday. A winter storm watch is in effect from Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening, including in Maryland: from Frederick to Baltimore, and Westminster to Annapolis, according to the National Weather Service. There might be "heavy wet snow, gusty winds, possible power outtages," it states. Meteorologist Justin Berk says there could be up to 5 inches in some areas of Central Maryland. The week begins clear on Monday, but clouds could increase Tuesday before the snowfall that's expected mostly between 2 and 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service forecast. As of Sunday evening, there's a 70-80 percent chance of precipitation Tuesday and Wednesday, and there's a 60 percent chance Wednesday night, the forecast states.
