It was there most of the week under a huge tent. If you're complaining about road closures, take itRead More up with the firehouse (who will save your life if you were ever in peril might I add).

Stop crime, I support the fire stations every time they request donations, so my complaint is withRead More getting the news out there. You must live where there are multiple streets to get somewhere. Unfortunately I live on a street where the only way out is Main Street. And like I said, I very rarely drive up towards the fire house. And it's pretty sad I know of every yard sale in the area, but not when a main road is closed.

I don't see anything wrong with a random photo of a kid riding down the street with an extra bike,Read More as long as nobody is chasing after him! We're in new age of camera phones...another day in the life...big deal!!!

Did anybody criticize Benny Hill for slappin' that little "old-bald-headed-white-man"Read More around? No....Why? ...'cause it was funny!!! There was no race card involved...you're right "everyone should put aside the race card!"...these days you just can't say anything where people take issue with it!...tough beans!!!

Jackie, have you finally found out the truth with all the lies being thrown out by the left andRead More their sounding board, the left wing media? Maybe you need to find out the truth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpezudbbZMA

It's made up. Read the lawsuit. The lawsuit seeks to have the time extended for everybodyRead More ......including the military. You won't learn that glued to Faux News though.

blur out the face?so as to not identify the race of the mayb perp?well, heres 2 funny angles...iRead More notice a lot that, unfortunately, black(i am black also) people say that when the person accused is black, and they themselves believe he is probably guilty, and 2,i dont think any black journalist or otherwise hid the fact that george zimmerman was not black.....hmmmm

Why was my comment rejected okay site run by a group of racist
Edward August 4, 2012 at 09:48 am
His sunglasses pretty much took care of that and definitely suspicious to see someone riding with aRead More bike in tow, now that they mention it.
john merkle October 10, 2012 at 02:15 pm
On the flip-side there were a group of whites circling a block on bikes, in the photo the white kidRead More was limping, clothes torn, busted eye and, standing in a puddle of urine looking for his bike....and the camera was stolen before it could be presented on the back pages of the free-press...was this a race issue?...no...just another day in charm city...

Oh Jeff where are you? Typical make a comment then run and never to be heard from again.

That will never happen, volunteers are "PRIVATE SECTOR" and supported by the community andRead More a part of the community,(of the people) Professional Fire Fighters supported by the government is a "PUBLIC SECTOR" supported by taxes, well you know how government handles you money.
Marc December 6, 2012 at 03:56 am
Firefighters don't have time to make phone calls, it's their office admin that does it most of theRead More time and who would want such a task? Someone has to ask for help.

If Catonsville Rails To Trails couln't win, then the next best project is Patapsco HeritageRead More Greenway. Congratulations to PHG! Thanks to Patch for running such a great "green" contest. It was fun.
David Hutton May 1, 2012 at 06:24 pm
I've been having great fun volunteering with PHG, and I admire the great work they are doing!
Betsy McMillion May 1, 2012 at 08:06 pm
Thanks so much to all of our friends who have supported the Patapsco Heritage Greenway! I recognizeRead More many of these names as our dedicated volunteers who are helping us make a difference in the Patapsco River watershed! Kudos to all those other environmental groups making a difference too - we are all in this together. Betsy McMillion, Executive Director P.H.G.

The Kentlands Community Foundation supports and encourages volunteerism in many programs includingRead More the Go Green Group. The Go Green group educates and advocates for green practices in our small community in a BIG way. Our community leaders and volunteers make Green fashionable.

It seems unlikely that "one comment" will net $500. As Patch explains, "we'll pick aRead More comment at random and the organization gets a check. There is one shot per commenter but other commenters who support the group are welcome — so the more comments an organization receives, the better chance it has at winning. If you know of a worthy nonprofit, have it mobilize its supporters to leave comments." It actually sounds to me more like a way for Patch to boost traffic on its site so AOL can go to advertisers and Wall Street investors and say, see--it's working! To those offended by my cynicism, sorry, but when the pool of comments includes people who have commented twice, and people with unrecognizable names, the word "randomness" loses its meaning.
