Jemicy School educates talented and bright students, struggling with dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences, by addressing both their intellectual strengths and their learning needs. Founded in 1973, Jemicy School is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in its field. The school utilizes creative, multisensory, research-based programs and techniques to develop reading, writing, spelling, and organization skills; promote a love of learning, and prepare students for the intellectual and social challenges of college and life. Jemicy educates students between the ages of six and eighteen on two campuses. The Lower and Middle School (grades 1-8) and the Upper School (grades 9-12 and the Upper School Prep program) are each based in Owings Mills, Maryland, just a short distance from one another.
