This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Petunia and Coffee. Here's what they each have to say--
My name is Petunia, and I was brought to BHS after I wandered into someone's yard with a cable wire wrapped around my neck. The staff took me in, and now I am ready for them to help me find my forever home. I am a lively and energetic girl who would love a family that can keep up with me! Hiking, long walks, play time in the yard...you name it, I'll love it! I have to tell you that I don’t "show well" in my kennel run here at the shelter; I just get so excited to see people, I don't know what to do with myself! Please don't judge me by that. If you want to see the real me, ask a staff member to take me into our visitation room or for a walk. I can be "dog selective" (just like people!), so if you have another dog at home, the staff here will schedule a meet-and-greet between us to see how we get along. If you have children, it would be best if they are at least 10 years old. I am a very happy girl who will bring joy to your life and make a beloved companion, if you just give me a chance!
Hey everybody, I'm Coffee! This is actually my second time at BHS. My sister Comfrey and I were recently returned because our previous guardians moved away and left us behind. I really enjoy being around people; but just so you know, I'm not really a fan of being picked up or carried. I do like to talk, and pretend I'm your shadow and follow you around! I'm looking for a kind family who would like to make me a sweet, loving addition to a happy home and who will give me the care I deserve. I'd love to be adopted with my sister again, but either way I'll make a great companion to a special someone. If you're looking for love, please look no further! Hope to see you soon and find my real forever home!
The adoption fee for Petunia is $165 and $52.50 for Coffee. Plus get a $5 off Hills Science Diet pet food coupon!
