Walmart Super Center To Open in October

Applications are being accepted for 350 permanent associate jobs.

The new Walmart Super Center in Randallstown is set to open Oct. 17, and the store is hiring for 350 associates positions.

On Tuesday, Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz gave updates on the store located on Brenbrook Drive, in Liberty Plaza shopping center.

"Enthusiasm is high in Randallstown as the new Walmart Super Center is getting closer to reality," he said in a statement. "As exciting as the new store is, it's these 350 new jobs that will have the greatest impact on the community."

The jobs are permanent and hourly, he said. There are part-time and full-time positions, including sales associates, cashiers, inventory associates, overnight stockers, lawn and garden specialists, deli, bakery and grocery workers.

For more information, call the Randallstown WalMart Jobs Hotline at 410-887-4666.

Submit applications to the Walmart website.

Here are more guidelines for getting a job at this store:

In-person job interviews must be scheduled in advance through the Maryland Workforce Exchange website.

Follow the instructions on the job posting to schedule a job interview.

Individuals who already have had an interview do not need to apply or interview again.

Which Walmart will you visit? The new one in Randallstown or the existing one in Owings Mills? Will the store and jobs help the community?

Is this one going to be as filthy and uncared for as the Owings Mills location? Trash in the aisles, trash in the parking lot, and trashing standing at the cash register. I'll be shopping at neither. Not to mention the amount of theft that Wal-Mart will see. I'm sure they'll need 5-6 loss prevention workers there 24/7 like the one in Catonsville has. I guess that's a way to create jobs???

I live in Owings Mills, but I shop at the Walmart in Eldersburg, which is in Carroll County, because the Walmart in Owings Mills is so smelly, trashy ,the employees are just plain rude, and forget the check-out!! It's a nightmare!! The new Walmart in Randallstown, might start out as a really nice store, but I am sure it won't be very long before it becomes exactly like the Owings Mills store...I will continue to shop at the Eldersburg Walmart..

i live in 'Pikesville' but will go to the new Walmart in Randallstown if for no other reason than to save on gas. I like to visit various walmarts because the prices are always different (higher in the 24 hour walmarts) and there are different selections of items in each one.
