Wendy’s on Lakeside Boulevard Robbed at Gunpoint

An armed man robbed the Wendy’s just outside of Owings Mills New Town on Friday, Oct. 26.

An armed robber stole an unknown amount of cash from the Wendy’s on Lakeside Boulevard in Owings Mills on Friday, Oct. 26.

The man entered Wendy’s through a side door around 9:20 p.m., displayed a black handgun and demanded money from both registers. He put the money in a gym bag, exited through the front door and fled on foot, according to Baltimore County Police report.

There was a previous armed robbery trend in the Reisterstown and Owings Mills areas in August and September. Another armed robbery took place at the Dunkin' Donuts on Main Street in Reisterstown on Saturday, Oct. 27.

I live in the apt complex right across from this Wendy's... I'm really fed up with the kind of people that loiter around this area... Nothing but trash coming up the light rail from the city. Owings Mills is a lost cause unless something is done soon. I hardly see any police presence around.

Ah yes. Good ol' Owings Mills. Filled with trash, delinquents, and thug kids. Lock all the useless wastes of oxygen up. And close the metro. Everyone knows that's the major problem. What? Too soon?
