Two Charged with Armed Robbery in Owings Mills

The men were arrested following a trio of armed robberies early Wednesday morning.

Two men have been charged with armed robbery following in Owings Mills, Baltimore County Police said.

Vernard Dionne Bradsher, 23, and his brother, Dustin Deshawn Bradsher, 25, both of Baltimore, are responsible for three armed robberies that happened between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. Wednesday, said police Capt. Matthew McElwee, commander of the county's .

A third suspect in the robberies is still being sought, McElwee said.

The first victim was robbed while walking home, near the intersection of McDonogh Road and Winands Road, police said. The other two victims were robbed as they exited vehicles outside their homes, police said.

One robbery happened in the 9300 block of Wheelwright Drive and the other was outside a home in the unit block of Village Gate Court, police said. In each case, cash and cell phones were taken as one man brandished a handgun, police said.

Both men are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $1 million bail, police said.

@Tracie - What's wrong with that? Three armed robberies in one night!!! They more than likely had tons of priors for the same thing. That was a very justified bail amount.

In the interest of being fair, court records do not indicate the men were charged with similar crimes in the past.

Any priors will bump your bail amount up right away. And the fact they committed three armed robberies in a night, well there is your reason why the bail is where it is. Seems reasonable to me.
