Teen Shot in Reisterstown in Serious Condition: Police

One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in Reisterstown Thursday afternoon, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

At 4:25 p.m. on Thursday, police were dispatched to a shooting in the 11700 block of Terry Town Drive, the department reported.

The shooting happened during a robbery, according to police.

A 17-year-old woman was shot at least once in the head, according to police, who said she was taken to Sinai Hospital with serious injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.

Detectives were investigating around Danbury Road where the victim ran to a house, according to police.

Several people were interviewed, and police said no charges had been filed as of 9:40 p.m.
