An 18-year-old from Randallstown was killed Thursday night after being hit by two vehicles on Liberty Road —one of which left the scene—according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
At 10:51 p.m. on Thursday, emergency personnel responded to Liberty Road at Chapman Road for a serious crash involving a pedestrian, police said.
Caleb Aaron Moulton, 18, of the 3900 block of Noyes Circle, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
According to preliminary investigation, police said Moulton was crossing Liberty Road from the south to the north side in an area that was unlit and was wearing dark clothing when he stepped in front of a vehicle.
A BMW traveling west on Liberty Road hit him, which threw Moulton into the eastbound portion of the road, where he was struck by a Mitsubishi Eclipse, police said.
The driver of the BMW remained at the scene, while the driver of the Mitsubishi Eclipse went home and contacted police, according to the report.
The Baltimore County Police Department's crash team continues to investigate and will submit a report to the Baltimore County State's Attorney's Office, which will determine whether to file any charges, according to police.
