(Updated) Police: Man Stabbed Woman Repeatedly Before She Collapsed

The altercation happened in the middle of the road Thursday in Owings Mills.

This story was updated at 2 p.m. Friday.

Baltimore County Police have issued an arrest warrant for attempted murder for a man they said repeatedly stabbed his girlfriend in the middle of the road in Owings Mills.

Police have declined to reveal his name until after his bail hearing.

According to police: witnesses told investigators that they saw a woman running away from a Mitsubishi Galant that was stopped in the middle of the road Thursday evening in the 11300-block of Owings Mills Boulevard.

They also told police, who arrived at 7:51 p.m., that the suspect, a man, was seen exiting the same vehicle, when he then chased the woman and stabbed her in the back and neck several times before she collapsed, police said.

They said the man then jumped back into his vehicle and was “recklessly speeding from the scene,” police said.

A short distance from the stabbing, the suspect was involved in a head-on collision, police said.

Both the victim and the suspect remain in critical condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

The four other people involved in the crash were also taken to the hospital, but police said their conditions are unknown.

Most of the comments on this site are racially tinged... In 2012 I would never believe that SOME people still have such venom in their hearts....it's pretty pathetic. I just wonder what they teach their children....I can only imagine...
