Police Blotter: Popeye’s Robbed at Gunpoint, Gasoline, Bicycle Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Franklin Precinct, which covers Reisterstown and Owings Mills. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Armed Robbery

An unknown suspect robbed the in Owings Mills at gunpoint after jumping over the counter, pointing a revolver at employees and demanding money at approximately 9:51 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15. The suspect took an unknown amount of money and fled on foot.

Second-Degree Burglary

An unknown suspect stole an unknown amount of gasoline and diesel fuel from Outside Unlimited in Upperco after breaking the lock to the gated entrance, entering an unlocked storage building and cutting locks to fuel pumps and a power switch between 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 14, and 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15.

Fourth-Degree Burglary

An unknown suspect stole a Magna bicycle from the porch of a home in the unit block of Woodenbridge Court in Owings Mills between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18.

A known suspect stole a round bale spear from a home on the 18900 block of Hanover Pike in Reisterstown in an attempt to scrap it for money between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11. A witness was able to identify the 17-year-old suspect, and no arrests were made.

Attempted Burglary

An unknown suspect attempted to enter Community Home Health in Owings Mills between 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, and 7:10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 13, through the front door and was unable to gain entry.
