Police Blotter: Juveniles Charged in Armed Robberies, Car Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Franklin Precinct, which covers Reisterstown and Owings Mills. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Armed Robbery

Four juveniles were charged in an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, Jan. 14, at 11:10 p.m. in front of . The victim was approached by the four male suspects, a 16-year-old Owings Mills resident, a 16-year-old Catonsville resident, a 17-year-old Gwynn Oak resident and a 17-year-old Baltimore resident, who demanded money and a cell phone. The Gwynn Oak resident then pointed a black Airsoft gun at the victim and told him to remove his clothes and run away. The suspects took an HTC Evo Shift cell phone, cargo pants, wallet, headphones and a Chicago Bulls hat, all of which was recovered.

The Gywnn Oak resident and Catonsville resident were also charged in an armed robbery that occurred at Reisterstown Road and Tollgate Road on Saturday, Jan. 14, at 10:10 p.m. The suspects approached the victim, demanded money and a cell phone, then the Gwynn Oak resident pointed a gun at the victim and told him to take of his clothes and run away. The suspects took a black hat, blue jeans, wallet and black shoes, all of which were recovered.

Grand Theft Auto

A 2004 blue Chevrolet Tracker was stolen from the parking lot of on Friday, Jan. 13, at 4:46 p.m. The car was parked and was not towed away.

First-Degree Burglary

An unknown suspect entered a home on the 3700 block of Black Rock Road in Upperco by breaking the glass in a side door on Monday, Jan. 16, between 6:25 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Once inside, the suspect ransacked the house and took $5 in coins.

An unknown suspect entered a home in the unit block of Fox Run Court in Reisterstown through a front window on Wednesday, Jan. 11, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. Once inside, both bedrooms were ransacked and the suspect took a 32-inch Vizio TV, an iPod Touch and a Bratz toy guitar.

An unknown suspect entered a home in the 600 block of St. Georges Station Road in Reisterstown through an unlocked basement door on Wednesday, Jan. 11, between 7:20 a.m. and 10:10 p.m. Once inside, the house was ransacked and the suspect took a Toshiba laptop, Pandigital e-reader, $100 cash and jewelry.

An unknown suspect entered a home in the 3500 block of Butler Road in Reisterstown and took two rifles from a bedroom closet between Friday, Dec. 23, at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 15, at 10 a.m.

Second-Degree Burglary

An unknown suspect gained entry to the Colonial Inn in Upperco through an unlocked upstairs window on Monday, Jan. 16, at 4:50 a.m. and took $102 cash and a black, metal money box.

Fourth-Degree Burglary

An unknown suspect gained entry to in Reisterstown through the rear of the business and cut and took an 80-inch copper pipe between Thursday, Dec. 15, and Sunday, Jan. 15, at 5 p.m.

An unknown suspect gained entry to an unlocked shed at a house in the 13000 block of Heil Manor Road in Reisterstown and removed two Trek bikes between Thursday, Dec. 1, at midnight, and Thursday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m.
