Main Street Dunkin’ Donuts Robbed at Gunpoint

The Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin Robbins on Main Street in Reisterstown on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Two armed men stole cash and employees’ wallets from the Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin Robbins on Main Street on Saturday, Oct. 27.

The robbers, each holding a black pistol, entered the restaurant around 9 p.m., and one of them jumped the counter. They demanded money from the register and employees, according to Baltimore County Police report.

The men fled on foot, police said.

There was a previous armed robbery trend in the Reisterstown and Owings Mills areas in August and September, with the most recent commercial armed robbery a day before this one at Wendy’s in Owings Mills just outside of New Town.

Perhaps the PD should stop "hanging out" behind the Northminster Church on Main Street and spend some more time at Dunkin Donuts?

Haha... I guess everything comes back around. Cops should be spending more time at doughnut shops and fast food resturants.

They should stop looking for marijuana and start looking for robbers and burglars.

I've noticed down my way the cops hang out in the parking lot behind the Reisterstown Shopping Center. Crime is not being committed back there. Hanging out in front of the shopping center might actually deter a few things.

If only the doughnut maker in the back had a gun this would of never happened. I worked retail for 15 years and carried. Never once did we have an issue and where i worked crime was 20 times worse than Reisterstown. STOP letting the bad guys out gun you.

Really Bill? Aka Wild Bill... You think a gun battle in a resturant where kids and old people go is a good idea. The best move is the one every company uses, is to give the money and have the robber leave. So the bad guy got a few hundred dollars what is the cost in medical costs and lawsuits if you or the employee hits an innocent person. Not to mention you may have just killed an innocent person! The robber probably already has the gun in his hand even if you hit him he is still gonna pull the trigger a few times. The idea is we are reading a robbery report and not a shootout report. Drop this idea that life is a movie. Gun play hardly ever goes as planned. "No plan survives first contact with an enemy" Sun Zu.
