2 Franklin High Students Charged in Robbery, Attempted Robbery of Student

A 15-year-old and a 17-year-old student were charged in two incidents that occurred at Franklin High on Friday.

Two Franklin High students are charged with robbing and attempting to rob another student at the school on Friday.

A 17-year-old student is charged with robbery and a 15-year-old is charged with attempted robbery and possessing a weapon on school property, according to Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander of the Baltimore County Police’s Franklin Precinct.

At 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, a 17-year-old student robbed another 17-year-old student of $10 in the boys bathroom. At 2:45 p.m., that same suspect and a 15-year-old student tried to rob the same victim in the school’s hallway. A fight started and was broken up by a teacher, Doarnberger said.

“By the time [the teacher] broke it up, he was able to obtain one of the students,” he said. That student was the 15-year-old, who was arrested Friday at the school. He had a knife on him but did not use it, Doarnberger said.

The 17-year-old suspect was arrested Monday at Franklin High and charged with robbery. Both suspects were released to their parents, Doarnberger said.

I am reporting what police have told me.

You should EXPECT that the crime's victims and suspects are minors, so their identity is protected. It's a suspect on victim crime. That work for you?

I am merely reporting the news that is of concern to the community. No names have been or will be mentioned because those involved are all under the age of 18.

Understand... Marc is only reporting what has already been reported. I believe it was DJ Groove who sent this in the wrong direction.. at the end of the day everyone does have an opinion no matter how we may feel about the opinion they have.

dogs and children share one big thing in common. They both must be trained and socialized early in life or as they mature physically they become increasingly hard to handle, We must hold parents more accountable for the values they instill in their children (and pets). If we raise them right then incidents like this and breed specific legislation will eventually be a thing of the past.
