PHOTOS: Reisterstown Festival Parade

The Reisterstown Festival kicked off Saturday morning with a longtime tradition: the parade.

Before local residents headed to Hannah More for music, vendors, food and fireworks, they lined Main Street for the Parade on Saturday.

The parade featured local fire departments, eateries, clubs, sports, marching bands, elected officials and nonprofits. Feel free to add your own photos from the parade!

Nice photos but after an unfortunate 2 year absence, it would have been nice to include a photo of the Franklin High marching ban. Also, a photo of school's JROTC troop.

Ditto on the Franklin HS band. After an absence last year due to limited access to a practice field they are "back" in full force and represent the community more than the Towson or Westminster bands? How about some local pride!

Couldn't agree more! Why would the Reistertown Patch's coverage of the Reisterstown Parade include pix of Towson and Loch Raven High's marching bands and not Franklin's? Fortunately, I took some and have uploaded them...enjoy!

We loved the parade and the festival. Unfortunately for many of our neighbors who are disabled and without transportation, the location of the festival was extremely challenging. They understand the need to have the festival in the back near the shelter, but they truly miss the location at Franklin Middle.

Thanks Bob. I was running and up and down Main Street in a Patch shirt, so quite a few people stopped me to talk. I must have missed Franklin in that time period. Sorry everybody!
