The water's fine! The annual Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point State Park is one of the most visible fundraisers for Special Olympics Maryland. Speaking of water, the Nationa Aquarium celebrates Australia Day.

Sunday

The Baltimore Ravens have the week off. Thanks to their AFC championship win, you won't find any of their six players selected for the Pro Bowl on the field in Hawaii. But you'll be able to see the rest of the AFC and NFC all-stars (minus San Francisco 49ers players) on the field when the game airs at 7 p.m. on NBC.

The Jewish Museum of Maryland opens a new exhibit about comic book superheroes in the Depression era, an exhibit once curated by Jerry Robinson, best known for giving life to the Joker in "Batman" comics.
