BALTIMORE (April 4, 2014) – Two medically-related end-users have signed leases totaling more than 7,000 square feet of space at St. John Properties’ Reisterstown Crossing, a 10-acre mixed-used business community in Reisterstown designed to contain nearly 100,000 square feet of office and retail space. Both users will be located in 116 Westminster Pike, a 14,280 square foot Class “A” office building that is nearing completion.
Koman Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, represented by Rob Freedman of Colliers International, leased 4,760 square feet of space and Charter Radiology, represented by Gary Applestein of Colliers International leased 2,380 square feet of space. Will McCullough, Leasing Representative for St. John Properties represented the landlord in both transactions.
Koman Orthopedics and Sports Medicine will offer surgical and non-surgical treatment of a range of orthopedic conditions as well as physical therapy services. The practice is owned and operated by Dr. Jon Koman, formerly an assistant team physician for the Baltimore Orioles, who specializes in sports medicine, ligament reconstructions and joint replacements. Charter Radiology, which will offer diagnostic, orthopedic and women’s imaging; state-of-the-art 3-Tesla MRIs; ultrasounds and X-rays, is owned and operated by Dr. Arvinder Daisy Uppal. The practice will specialize in orthopedic, breast MRI and pelvic imaging for both men and women.
Reisterstown Crossing is positioned near the northern entry point of Interstate 795, a highway that provides rapid connections to Carroll County (five minutes away) and downtown Westminster (approximately 15 minutes), as well as downtown Baltimore and the Baltimore Beltway (Interstate 695). The southern area of Pennsylvania can be accessed in 30 minutes.
In addition to 116 Westminster Pike, construction is underway on 118 Westminster Pike, a 12,675 square foot retail building fronting Main Street near the intersection of Interstate 795 and Westminster Pike. Offering suite sizes beginning at 1,300 square feet, the building is intended to house a variety of complementary merchants providing consumer and business-oriented products and services, food uses including fast-casual and sit-down restaurants and soft and hard goods retailers. Construction will commence later this year on two additional 30,600 square foot Class “A” office buildings in Reisterstown Crossing.
