Jemicy School’s Dance Teams and Chorus had quite a busy
holiday season. First, more than 100 Jemicy team members delighted the
crowd with their dancing to upbeat holiday tunes at the Hunt Valley Town Center
Tree Lighting. Then, right before winter break, the Middle School Dance Teams and Chorus
entertained residents of the Atrium Assisted Living Facility in Pikesville, as
well as those of St. Martin’s Nursing Home in Catonsville. Jemicy’s Dance
Teams, coached by Lisa Needle, and Chorus, directed by Susan Thoren, danced,
sang, gave out holiday cards, and spent time with the residents. The students
felt good about the joy they were bought to their audiences.
