Harbour's Hugs for Heroes--A Huge Success

The Harbour School held its annual auction, Harbour's Hugs for Heroes. The event was held this past Saturday night. Bidders took home jewelry, trips, artwork, Ravens tickets and more. The school is raising money to increase their STEM curriculum.  Specifically, they are going to purchase a 3D printer, enhance their robotics program and start a point of sale program for their Village Curriculum. Student participate in Village every Friday. During that time, they buy and sell goods and work in jobs modeling real world experiences. With the new point of sale program, they will use debit cards with the school's iPads in order to purchase items and services. They currently write checks.

The Harbour School at Baltimore is a Non-Public school serving students ages 6-21. Students at the school have been diagnosed as having learning disabilities, high functioning autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, other health impaired (primarily ADHD) and multi-disabled.
