All in the Timing: David Ives’ Collection of Fast-Paced, Comedic One-Acts on Stage
at Stevenson University, February 28-March 9
Stevenson, MD ¾ Stevenson University’s theatre program presents nine one-acts from David Ives’ All in the Timing on stage February 28, March 1-2, and March 6-9 at 8 p.m.; and March 1 and March 3 at 2 p.m. in the Studio Theatre located on the University’s Greenspring campus. Tickets will be available at the door but can be reserved in advance through the Stevenson University Box Office by calling 443-334-2618. General admission is $10, $5 for students with SU I.D., and $6 for senior citizens.
The Studio Theatre is located in the Dawson Academic Center on Stevenson’s Greenspring campus, 15525 Greenspring Valley Road, Stevenson, MD 21153.
Directed by Adjunct Professor of Theatre Ron Heneghan, All in the Timing consists of fast-paced, clever, contemporary, and largely comedic scenes which explore the power of wordplay and timing in our communications. One-acts in the Stevenson production of All in the Timing include “The Philadelphia,” “Sure Thing,” “Sevens Menus,” “Words, Words, Words,” “Philip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread,” “Variations of the Death of Trotsky,” “English Made Simple,” “Foreplay, or the Art of the Fugue,” and “Ancient History.” The production will also feature short films produced by Stevenson film/video students.
