A Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner will be held on February 12, 2013, 4pm-7pm at the Reisterstown United Methodist Church, 246 Main Street, Reisterstown. The cost will be $6.00 per Adult, 6 years to 12 years old is $3.00, under 5, free. One dollar of each ticket will be donated to the Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown’s Elimination Project. The Elimination Project was organized to help eliminate Neo Natal Tetnus around the world. Members of the Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown will be cooking and serving the pancakes and sausage dinner. More About Reisterstown United Methodist Church
This church can trace its roots back to 1777, when a chapel was built where the church's cemetery now sits. What is known today as the Northside Chapel was built in 1868. The church added an educational building in 1965 and its current sanctuary in 1974. The church offers youth and adult ministries.
