Jewish Community Services (JCS), the Jewish Community Center (JCC) and JOIN for Teens are sponsoring two Job Fairs for teens and young adults ages 14-19, seeking full-time, part-time, seasonal or temporary work. On February 12 a Job Fair will take place from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC, 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue. On March 3, a Job Fair will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Weinberg Park Heights JCC, 5700 Park Heights Avenue in Baltimore.
Employers will be on hand to accept applications, conduct interviews and answer questions. Participants can visit stations to gain valuable job search skills, including resume formatting, interviewing, and networking, as well as collect information and resources.
The Job Fairs are part of “Keys to a Successful Job Search,” an array of free programs that also includes opportunities to meet one-on-one with a JCS professional Career Coach (by appointment) and to attend job search skills workshops on selected Tuesday evenings in February and March at the Mitchell David Teen Center. These programs are made possible by a grant from the Grandchildren of Harvey M. and Lyn P. Meyerhoff Philanthropic Fund. JCS and the JCC are agencies of THE ASSOCIATED.
